Free Style Skiing at the 21st Winter Olympics Games
One of the most popular gaming categories that attract countless spectators every year at Winter Olympics is Free Style Skiing event. Free Style Skiing is basically an acrobatic sport that is a superb blending of aerial and technical skiing. This sport is actually organized into a number of different disciplines as far as the international standards are concerned. During the early years of the 1960s and the 1970s, free style skiing was more commonly termed as hot-dogging. Located in the Cypress Provincial Park, the Cypress Mountain lies right next to the district of West Vancouver. The Cypress Mountain region is served by an efficient highway which serves some spectacular scenic views of the entire of Vancouver and the Vancouver harbor region. Communication to the Cypress Mountain has become a lot easier and faster, thanks to this highway. The venue has the capacity to hold 12,000 spectators for the free style skiing category.

Following is the schedule for the free style skiing event at the Winter Olympic Games, 2010. Though the schedule is given in the Eastern Standard Time, the events will be actually taking place in the Pacific Standard Time.
- February 13 Saturday: 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm – 11:30 pm; Women’s Moguls
- February 14 Sunday: 6:30 pm -7:30 pm and 9:30 pm -10:30 pm; Men’s Moguls
- February 20 Saturday: 1 pm – 2:30 pm; Women’s Aerials
- February 21 Sunday: 12:15 pm – 1:45 pm and 3:15 pm – 4:30 pm; Men’s Ski Cross
- February 22 Monday: 9 pm – 10:30 pm; Men’s Aerials
- February 23 Tuesday: 1 pm -2:30 pm; Women’s Ski Cross
- 4 pm – 5:15 pm
- February 24 Wednesday: 10:15 pm – 11:15 pm; Women’s Aerials

Tickets:
Tickets to the free style skiing events at the Cypress Mountain venue for the 21st Winter Olympic Games are available at the ticket box offices outside the venue entrance. Category A tickets will seat the spectators on the right hand side at the reserved grand stand seating. Category B tickets will seat the spectators at the general admission standing area. But as there is limited shelter available in the area; it would be viable for you to be prepared with lots of winter clothes and raincoats or umbrellas to face the chilly and wet weather.
