Speed Skating in Vancouver 2010 Olympics
Speed skating is a type of ice skating where one competitor races the other for traveling a particular skating distance. Schedule:
The men’s 5000 m category of games will take place at 12 noon on February 13, while the ladies category of the game will take place the following day at 1300 hrs.
February 15 will see the men’s 500 m first Race of two being held at 15.30 hrs. On that very day, the men’s 500 m Second Race of two is also scheduled at 17.30 hrs. This one is a medal event.
February 16 will see the Ladies’ 500 m first Race of two being held at 1300 hrs. Second Race of two, which is a medal event, will be held at 1452 hrs. The qualifier for men’s 1000 m will take place on
February 17 at 1600 hrs. The same for the ladies category will be held on February 18, and both of them are medal events. The following event categories are as follows:

- Men’s 10000 m: Feb 23
- Ladies 5000 m: Feb 24
